How do I connect Beevi to my OpenAI dot?

If you can paste a link, you can do this.

  1. Add Beevi as a plugin in ChatGPT

    In ChatGPT open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode. Then go to Plugins, click +, name it Beevi, paste this URL and choose OAuth:

    https://beevi.ai/api/mcp/mcp

    ChatGPT then opens Beevi. Sign in (or create a free account) and click Allow. No API key needed.

  2. Send your dot this message

    Open your dot at chatgpt.com/dots and paste this in. That’s the whole setup.

What are OpenAI dots?

Dots are always-on AI agents in ChatGPT, launched by OpenAI on September 29, 2026. A dot keeps working between conversations on its own cloud computer, uses apps through ChatGPT plugins, runs scheduled tasks, and follows Custom Rules you set. You can talk to it in ChatGPT on the web, desktop and mobile, and in Slack or Microsoft Teams.

What is the difference between a dot and ChatGPT?

ChatGPT answers when you ask. A dot keeps going when you don’t: it runs scheduled tasks, watches for work it can take on, and messages you when something needs a decision. It uses the same ChatGPT plugins, so a dot connected to Beevi can run your social media week without being prompted.

Can an OpenAI dot post to Instagram, LinkedIn or TikTok?

Not on its own, but it can through Beevi. Connect Beevi as a ChatGPT plugin and your dot can have Beevi draft, design and schedule posts on the six platforms Beevi publishes to: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok and YouTube.

How do I connect Beevi to my dot?

Turn on Developer mode in ChatGPT (Settings → Security and login), add Beevi under Plugins with the MCP URL on this page, and sign in to Beevi when ChatGPT asks. Then send your dot the short message on this page.

Is Beevi an official ChatGPT plugin?

Not yet. Today you add Beevi as a custom plugin in developer mode, which takes about two minutes. When Beevi is listed in the ChatGPT plugin directory, this page will say so and the setup gets even shorter.

Will my dot publish posts without asking me?

Not with this setup. The message tells it never to approve or publish without your OK, the Custom Rule in step 4 makes ChatGPT ask before it does, and Beevi’s own approval queue still applies to anything your dot schedules.

Which ChatGPT plans include dots?

OpenAI includes the first dot in ChatGPT Pro and Business Premium, rolling out over several days. Pro accounts in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are not included at launch. Enterprise, Edu and Healthcare workspaces can try a beta once an admin turns it on.

My dot can’t see Beevi. What do I check?

Make sure Developer mode is on and Beevi appears under Settings → Plugins. On a Business or Enterprise workspace, an admin may need to allow custom plugins first. If Beevi shows up but calls fail, remove and re-add the plugin so ChatGPT asks you to sign in to Beevi again.

Does it cost extra?

Beevi’s MCP access is on every plan, including the 7-day free trial. Posts, images and videos your dot asks for use your Beevi credits, the same as in the app. Dots themselves are part of your ChatGPT plan.
