How to connect Beevi to your AI

No code, no app to install. If you can paste a link, you can do this.

Get your Beevi API key
In Beevi, click Connect my AI on your home screen, or open Settings → API Keys, and create a key. Copy it now: it is only shown once. A workspace key reaches one brand; an organization key reaches all of them.
Add Beevi to your AI
Pick your assistant under MCP Instructions. ChatGPT and Claude need only this URL and a Beevi sign-in; for code editors Beevi shows the config with your key filled in.

Setup by assistant

Connect ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code or Cursor

Beevi shows these exact values under Settings → API Keys → MCP Instructions, with your key already filled in for the code editors.

Web and desktop app

Open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode.
Go to Plugins, click +, and name it Beevi.
Under Connection pick Public endpoint, paste the URL below and choose OAuth. Leave the client ID and secret empty.
Save it. ChatGPT opens Beevi: sign in and click Allow. No API key needed.

Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
Name it Beevi and paste the server URL below.
Leave the OAuth client ID and secret empty, click Add, then Connect.
Claude opens Beevi: sign in and click Allow. No API key needed.

What is a social media MCP server?

It is a connector that lets an AI assistant work inside a social media tool. MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is the open standard ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and most AI agents use to call outside tools. Beevi’s MCP server lets your assistant draft, design, schedule and approve posts in your Beevi workspace.

What is the Beevi MCP server URL?

https://beevi.ai/api/mcp/mcp. It is the same for every account. Signing in (ChatGPT, Claude) or your API key (code editors) is what tells Beevi who you are.

Which AI assistants work with it?

Any client that supports remote MCP servers over HTTP. We document ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Cursor and Windsurf, and it also works with OpenAI dots through ChatGPT and with xAI’s Grok Bot.

Do I need an API key?

Only for Claude Code, Cursor and Windsurf: create one in Beevi under Settings → API Keys. A workspace key reaches one brand; an organization key reaches every workspace you run. ChatGPT and Claude skip the key: you sign in to Beevi and click Allow, and the connection shows up under Settings → API Keys, where you can revoke it like any key.

Is it safe to let an AI post for me?

Your approval rules still apply. A post the AI schedules goes through the same approval queue as one you make in Beevi. Keys are scoped to your workspace or organization, and revoking one cuts access immediately.

Which social networks can it post to?

The six Beevi publishes to: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok and YouTube. Connect the accounts once in Beevi; the assistant never sees your social passwords. Each platform has its own guide, including what its official MCP server does and doesn’t do.

Can it make images, carousels and video?

Yes. Your assistant can ask Beevi for AI covers, 3–10 slide carousels and short video clips, made with your brand colours, fonts and logo. They use your plan’s credits, the same as in the app.

How is this different from asking ChatGPT to write a post?

ChatGPT on its own writes text and stops there. Through Beevi it writes in your saved brand voice, designs the image, knows what you posted last week, and actually schedules and publishes to your accounts.
